For the past 13 years, I have been an editor, graduating from 3 machine linear (in the 90s) to Media 100 and (since 2001) Final Cut Pro.  The scope of programmes I have worked on has been so wide ranging - experience and skill that I now bring to all projects.  So how can my skills and facilities help you?

You may already have filmed your production and just need it edited. I now offer the full HD and SD post production solution at an affordable rate. Formats available are HDCAM, Digi-Beta, XDCAM, Panasonic P2, HDV, DV, BetaSP. I hire the players that I need for each particular project, which allows such a wide choice of formats. My system is based on Apple’s Final Cut Pro Studio - I have worked exclusively with this package for over 8 years now.

One of my popular services is what I call ‘remote editing’. You send over the tapes (or hard drive) along with an outline EDL and I will put together your programme without you having to be present. I can send regular QuickTime movies over the web to you, allowing you to check on progress.

I have also ‘rescued’ a number of productions that had gone wrong elsewhere. You can be assured of discretion and an honest appraisal of the project.

I am used to the practicalities of meeting deadlines - working quickly, creatively and efficiently. You will not have a last minute panic - 13 years doing the same job makes my lead-time predictions realistic and accurate.

For productions that need to be on DVD, I am an advanced user of DVD Studio Pro - menu design, encoding, authoring, right through to replication can all be done quickly and easily on the system here.
