I provide a wide range of services - Conversions, Encoding, Video to DVD, Duplication, Editing and Troubleshooting of existing projects. Many projects are ‘one-offs’ and need specialist attention.
I offer this as an individual service - each project takes as long as is needed to get it exactly right for you. As an example, DVD conversions are done using proper DVD authoring software and hardware. This means that individual menus can be made for your project. I do not cut corners by using a DVD recorder.

I also offer a DVD ‘finishing’ service where a client may have a finished programme and needs help making and preparing the DVD for glass mastering. Sometimes getting the master ‘just right’ for Quality Control at the replication facility can be difficult and stressful. I am very experienced at this and through my tie-up with Sony DADC in Austria, can make sure that everything works quickly and smoothly for the replication process.
For smaller runs, I have a DVD / CD duplicator. My tie-up with Sony DADC in Austria allows thousands (or hundreds of thousands) of ‘pressed’ DVD copies to be made with a wide choice of packaging options.

I also offer a design service for the outside of the DVD and the inlay sleeve (and booklet, if needed). This is a recently added service and has proved popular with clients wanting to keep everything ‘in-house’.

Other Related Services
I have taken on a number of jobs that make use of technical skills as well as the video-related ones. I enjoy the challenge of turning around a difficult assignment and derive personal satisfaction when it all works out.
I have recently had 2 sets of clients who were midway through an editing project (on a PC system) when their equipment failed. My job was to recover as much as had been done before and complete the project for them. In both instances, I am pleased to say that this was achieved, and in addition, a struggling laptop which took 7mins to start Windows XP was de-clogged to produce a minute or so startup.
Another recent job was turning 1500 colour slides into a DVD presentation, with all the slides gently animating. Many of these slides were 40+ years old and had turned red as the colours had faded. A new scanning device bought for this purpose, combined with new software meant that I was able to ‘colour-correct’ all the slides, enabling the client to once again see these pictures in their former glory. A project like this is time-consuming to do properly, but satisfying professionally.
